Tami Manton, owner of Group Theater Tix, has been in the group sales business in Chicago since 1997.
GTT created and continues to operate the group sales business for Chicago’s Apollo Theater. We have successfully sold groups for the hit shows, Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh; The Odd Couple, The Female Version, starring Barbara Eden; If you Ever Leave Me, I’m Going with you, starring Joe Bologna and Renee Taylor; Eve Ensler’s, The Vagina Monologues, Leaving Iowa, Altar Boyz, Church Basement Ladies, Forbidden Broadway, HATS and Menopause The Musical, which ran for four successful years. Additionally, GTT has sold groups for many Chicagoland venues, including Centre East, The Mercury Theater, Theatre Building Chicago, The Royal George Theater, The Drury Water Tower Place Theater, and the North Shore Center for The Performing Arts in Skokie. Group sales clients also include: Porchlight Music Theatre, Chicago Sitcom, BoHo Theatre Company, and Chicago Dramatists.
In 2007, GTT partnered with MMM Productions to create a national group sales operation for touring shows in Los Angeles, Florida and Chicago.
