Little mortal jump by Alejandro CerrudoResident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo creates his 10th work for the company this season. His nuanced clarity of movement vocabulary and structure draws you in and keeps you enthralled throughout his work.

Following the Subtle Current Upstream by Alonzo KingA visionary choreographer, Alonzo King is altering the way we look at dance by meshing classical ballet's formality with the propulsion and angularity of modern dance. Originally commissioned for Alvin Ailey, this moving piece by one of America's leading African American choreographers launched an unprecedented collaboration with King and his LINES Ballet when Hubbard Street first performed the work in 2011.

Too Beaucoup by Sharon EyalThis fascinating work, created specifically for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, aims to manipulate and replicate precise and robotic movement that offers a sense of watching a 3-D video. The futuristic costumes, intense lighting and idiosyncratic movement serve to immerse the audience in this bizarre world.
